This is a very clever book which introduces the dual concepts of shapes and also the dietary food, textures and taste to the kids in a very fun way. It’s a very delightful read which blends both shapes and food habits together. I really enjoyed it.

What we Give Away : By Paulette Stout

What We Give Away: A Delicious Standalone Novel (Bold Journeys)What We Give Away: A Delicious Standalone Novel by Paulette Stout
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book took me by surprise. I loved it ! A romance with a formidable central theme, body shaming. We all can relate to this ,one way or another. Leslie is a fearless journalist and she has lived most of her life following a strict diet regime. The love of her life happens to be her ex, Risto, an upcoming star chef and owner of a Puerto Rican restaurant. He loves to live life to the fullest, and does not bother to watch his weight. When fate throws them together again, Leslie has to decide whether to tread the path of self-discovery and true love or rise to fame doing her job well.
I simply loved this book. Hope there are more such sensible love stories !

The Melody of Evil by N.L.Holmes

The Melody of Evil (Hani's Daughter Mysteries Book 4)The Melody of Evil by N.L. Holmes
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This historic mystery is fourth in the series . As I did not read the previous three , I struggled a bit for the context but overall enjoyed the book . Neferet hires a bunch of musicians to play at her step daughter’s birthday party and one of them ends up murdered . The prime suspect is her step son in law .

Set in ancient Egypt the book offers vivid descriptions of the era and rich in details . It’s a cozy mystery which brings ancient Egypt to life . I really enjoyed the book.
