This western Romance Suspense novel was an engaging read. It starts with trouble, a shootout in a highway lands the heroine Emma into surgery. Enter the hero, Destry, a Delta Force Veteran, who takes it on himself to be her protector. They develop a bond and a relationship but then there is trouble brewing again on their first date. With the cartel closing in and danger looming in the rodeo ring, will their love survive. This book is a page turner and keeps you hooked until the end. I thoroughly enjoyed the book.

This was such an adorable book. I picked it up because of the title. Our family loves visiting national parks , we have not been to the Joshua national park yet , so it was a very nice easy tour for us. The pictures are so endearing and cute, the little adventure comes live in action before our eyes. There is also an educational tour about the flora and fauna found in the park and the landscape of the park itself. I was doing my research side by side about the park as I was reading this book. I am going to go find all the other books in this series and follow the Mouse as he tours all the national parks in US. Loved it.

This book is fifth in the series, I had not read the previous book so it was a little tricky to understand the background of the characters. The plot itself is a standalone read.

The characters are particularly engaging; they resemble oil and water at first glance. The female protagonist is a spirited rock performer, fiercely independent and a bit rough around the edges. In contrast, the male lead epitomizes the easy-going charm of country life, with his chill demeanour and warm heart. Their dynamic is charming, as they navigate their differences to find common ground. Together, they create a musical connection that resonates, and their witty banter had me chuckling throughout.
Overall, Gone Country offers a narrative filled with humor and just the right amount of romantic tension. I can’t wait to see what Hunter has in store for readers in the next book!

This is the third book of the series and I have not read the first two, so it did take me sometime to get into the characters and the storyline, but the plot is standalone. The protagonist Charlie majors in dance before she sets her eyes on becoming a doctor. But her maternal side of the family has given her supernatural powers to talk to the dead before they crossover. She gets introduced to her soul mate Jack through a mutual friend and they make a great team together. But then will Charlie be able to balance her psychic abilities with her professional and budding personal relationships? This was an interesting book, the characters are strong and supportive. The plot is engaging. I enjoyed it.

I have not read any of the prior books in this series, so it was a little complicated to understand the already set dynamics between characters. But the plot itself was standalone and engaging.
Madaline, the protagonist steps into the shoes of her event manager Lauren as she is unwell. Being a private investigator, she also gets involved in a MDPI Case where a background check is requested by a client’s daughter whose father is suffering from early dementia.
Things get more complicated when her ex-husband shows up. Madeline tries to juggle between all these complexities with the help of her supportive husband, Mike. The book was an engaging read. I liked it,

I have not read other books in the series but this book could be read standalone. It is a cozy mystery book where the protagonist Sparky goes to an island where she has to deal with a doppelganger and also solve a murder. The suspects are many as the victim was generally disliked. Sparky has to unravel the murder mystery before any further mishaps take place. If you like Nancy Drew adventures you will like this book. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Looking forward to read all the books in the series.

This book reminded me of my friend, who got married to her longtime boyfriend, They decided to quit their jobs and go for a new beginning. In their old car, they travelled 21 US states staying in motels and eating subs and delis for about three weeks.
One Wrong Move at a time comprises of such impromptu unplanned messed up moments, where the author and her husband set forth on an adventure in their old crammed up car, which has already seen many miles, with old maps and end up in multiple detours and goof ups.
It’s a light hearted read with lot of hilarious moments and a lot of wisdom about marriage coupled with flashbacks.
I really enjoyed this book and would recommend it to everyone.

This was a pretty interesting book which deftly weaves historic backdrop of Napolean wars into a steamy romance tale. Helene is a ballet dancer, who wants to make big on the stage. She is also an active member in the French revolution. William is a duke whose political aspirations are pledged to the ruling regime and he intends to become the prime minister. William has been haunted by a nymph in his dreams. The nymph is a spitting image of Helene. As attraction soars, the political ideology comes as a barrier between them. It is a battle between their career aspirations and their attraction.
The tale is filled with political intrigue, the restrictions imposed in the Napolean era and the societal norms which prevent free flow of thoughts. I learnt a lot about the aristocratic era through this book. I enjoyed it very much.

With civil unrest, schemes with in the council and facing a powerful enemy, Theo finds himself in the midst of a loveless marriage alliance. His love from the mortal world, Isabelle follows him to the Fae realm and she has to face the brunt of this complex maze as an outsider.
This was an interesting read. We know how power politics works and this book brings it to the limelight. I enjoyed it and would like to read more from this author.
